A-Sultan - Almost Went Up

This could go another month, we could face love,
But you deserve the words, even if they overthrow.
I know what I came for, I know what needs done,
But knowing and doing aren't the same.
I almost went up, almost opened the door,
Almost said the thing I can't take back anymore.
I almost went up, almost faced what I knew,
But I'm down here trying to be someone brave and new.
